Another cool experiment in making money with hard work and a little bit of hustle.
Cool proof-of-concept demo showing that there are a lot of ways to hustle cash if you’re willing to do the work.
I was recently contacted by the founder of Code Anthem asking me why I haven’t taken any of the tests yet (I’m in the private beta).
I told her that I would love to participate, but since the only languages they currently support testing are C# and Java (two of my least favorite languages) that I was waiting for more languages to be supported (perl, php, python, c, bash, javascript, etc).
One thing lead to another, and I ended up volunteering my time to help Code Anthem build out their tests into more languages. Of course, none of this has been finalized or anything, but I’m really optimistic that I’ll be able to help Code Anthem turn into an awesome development skill measuring stick by contributing some of my time and experience providing tests in other languages.
Everyone go to http://codeanthem.com and give them your email address so that you can (eventually) get invited to their private beta. Every startup needs users, and this one looks like it could end up being very useful to all of us. Show some support. :D
/me is excited!
This is an amazingly detailed categorized archive of all AskYC/AskHN posts from HackerNews.
This is a video of an interesting experiment showing how you can train users to do something you want them to do by making that activity fun.
You give this sweet little web app your desired brand name and it runs off and checks the top 10 TLDs, the top 10 ccTLDs, the top 10 social networks, and also does a quick trademark search and spits out a simple chart of what is taken and what is available.
